WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center, Munich IP Dispute Resolution Forum (IPDR Forum), Center for Intellectual Property and Competition Law (CIPCO) University Zurich
The annual WIPO Mediation and Arbitration Workshop was held in Munich this year. The Workshop consisted of two one-day-workshops and was a joint effort of WIPO, the Munich IP Dispute Resolution Forum (IPDR Forum) and CIPCO (Center for Intellectual Property and Competition Law at the University of Zurich).
The Workshop provided a comprehensive introduction to dispute resolution options for intellectual property disputes and covered topics including:
- Mediation and arbitration for IP disputes
- Expert determination and other ADR mechanisms
- Drafting effective dispute resolution clauses for IP contracts
- Case management and enforcement
This intensive workshop combined expert presentations with practical exercises and case studies, providing participants with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in IP dispute resolution.
